Photography Counseling

When it comes to the work of Photography, im still a rookie at it and i have so much to learn about it. As i continue taking a lot of pictures, i not only capture a moment, but i also capture a memory of a lifetime, whether good or bad. some of those precious moments are not as significant at the second i press the shutter button on my camera, but few years later, the picture will be worth of talking about.

Some of the good things that these taking of the pictures shows or revealing to me are the growth of my skills and knowledge of photography. it shows improvements when i compare my recent pictures to the past. it helps me know that i am improving in what i put most of my passion into.

But for the most important, I take the work of photography seriously because it does help me in so many ways and it impact my life. I use it as a counseling session. And mainly, i focus on nature photography. And most of the time, i consider myself as a butterfly chaser. I take pictures of nature because they dont lie to me. they just present itself as it is. Even better, when i take a shot, i learn so much creativities and artistics God pours onto His creation just to please us. the bottom pictures are just some of the shots that i took and I hope you enjoy them. they are not the best but hopefully it reveals to you some things you did not know.

This is a macro shot of Hybiscus flower.

This is a beautiful butterfly sucking the nectar of the hybiscus.

I call this Lobster fly. Its tail is just like lobster that when it flies around, it spread wide and on its side, there's some kind of controler like lobster.

These pix are just some examples of my work. The more focus i spent my time on them, the less focus i spent on my daily burdens/problems. it not only takes my focus away from them, but at the same time, it helps me think slowly and patiently. it helps me process things in my mind better. It helps me resolve things better.

Even though i use this as a therapy, I also expose some details of these creatures that we barely see everyday. I guess people have different ways of lightening their burdens, but this is my way. I don't hurt these creatures, and at the same time, they don't mislead me to other troubles. I call this a Counseling Through God's Nature.

ALL IN ALL, I JUST HOPE YOU'VE SEEN SOMETHING NEW AND LEARNED SOMETHING THROUGH THESE PICTURES. FOR ME, I DID LEARN SOMETHING.

I MAY BE AN ARTIST, BUT IN THE END, I'M STILL A MASTERPIECE. THERE IS SOMEONE WHO IS HIGHER THAN ME, THE ONE WHO CREATED ME, THE TRUE ARTIST, THE ALMIGHTY GOD.
