Two weeks ago, Karyn Sorenson came to Palau with Daisy Murdock to do some Student recruit and Counseling workshop. Last week, Daisy returned to Guam and Karyn went to Yap for more workshops.
This week on Monday, (March 25th) Jo Romaniello and Lisa Collins came to continue the workshop of counseling, and what Jo and Lisa brought to share with us was "Story Telling and Journaling"
Jo is a Professional Counselor for Marriage and Family and I've known her for two years. She was teaching students in PIU this semester and we were blessed to have her and Lisa to come and help us with some ways of doing ministries with Families, Workers, and the Community.
At night, they do workshops with random church members.
Day time, they spend time with employees of Kinder Garten
Bethania High School
and Emmaus High School staff to help them in some of strategies to help them in their works.
On a down time, I take them to do some errand and fun time. on the top picture, I took them to the waterfall in Ngardmau and they enjoyed a refreshing swimming.
Majority of the audience that attended the seminars were women.
Jo had a chance to meet Dr Lala and made connections that hopefully in the future, they will work together to uplift the spiritual health in Palau. At this meeting, i learned that Jo planned to come to Palau over 20 years ago. It's a blessing for me to meet these wonderful people that have sacrificed their time show some blindspots of our ministries.
Wonderful pictures and summary of their visit, Meluat! Just the kind of information I like to see. :)
