Morning devotion

This morning I had a good devotion, singing some songs and reading Psalm 41. One sister came and join me on the last half of my devotion which was a blessing to me. I usually have devotion alone and today God provided someone to have good fellowship with me. Also, I enjoyed taking some pictures of sunrise and some insects. well, not some insects but one. This is a picture of the sunrise from this morning and i kind or wanted to had baskeball board before it. Oh yeah, there's a ball stuck in between the rim and the board, which makes this picture perfect.
This is the actual size of jumping spider

I decided to use it as my model and took some good macro shots with it.

This is my first time taking picture of this creature and beleive me, this creature loves camera.

I try to take a clear shot of it and it keeps jumping to my lens which is very funny.

God's creation is so amazing

We cannot see these with our naked yes. I even try to see its eyes with my naked eyes and i barely see its eyeballs.

New Basketball Mission

As we know that PIU Basketball Team has been playing church league every year and it has been wonderful. This year, PIU Basketball Team has stepped up a little bit and has entered the regular league in Guam. I am part of the team and I want to say that I enjoy watching and witnessing the team making connections with these other teams who are not involved in any church associations. There are couple of team that are helping us in reaching out to these people but i think they are mixed with Christians and non-Christains. I saw some of the members of Island Praise in the league, but i don't think their team is mixed. But anyways, watching my brothers playing inside the court with the good attitude is really something for me. Do I want to get in the court? definitely because i have improved a lot and want to prove myself, not others, but myself that i can play just like other good players. But I think that that is not the reason for me to be part of the team by following my anxiousness. My expectation and goal to be part of the team is to just enjoy it and pray for my brothers who are in the court so they can represent Christ in the way Christ want things to be handled. I am blessed to be part of the team and just watching these brothers improving in their games every time they get in the court. Comparing this season to last one, it has improved a lot. Some of these players have shortage of final needs in school and I want to ask that if you are willing to support these guys, it would be a blessing for them. Don't worry about me because I can deal with my own. But I believe and have seen in my eyes that these brothers are making a lot of difference inside the court and it has touched other people's lives by just watching them play. So if you are willing to support these guys, I want to ask you to start donating and help them in their tuitions. Some of them are not just doing this basketball ministry, but some are involving in other ministries that will be sent this coming summer. They are eager to work for Christ, so I humbly ask that help these brothers.

ARE THE REFEREE'S READY?
CHECK.

ARE THE TABLE PENCIL'S READY?
CHECK.

THEN LET THE GAME BEGIN.

FIRST FIVE PIU WARRIORS GET'S IN THE COURTS.

WHILE OTHER WARRIORS ARE OUTSIDE, HUNGRY TO GET THE TASTE OF THE RUMBLE.

EVERYONE ARE JUST WATCHING FROM OUTSIDE ROARING AND CHEERING AND EXPECTING SOMETHING GOOD TO HAPPEN.

I MEAN EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM ARE JUST WATCHING.

THEN THE RIOT START. IT'S A BATTLE BETWEEN TWO TRIBES THAT HAS BEEN CHOSEN FROM THEIR NATIONS. THE BATTLE IS STRONG AND TOUGH

THEIR JUMPING FOR IT
WE TAKE THE CONTROL OF IT.

IT COST US INJURY BECAUSE IT'S SO INTENSE

IT COST US AN INJURY BUT WE CONTINUED TO BATTLE AGAINST THESE FIERCE STRONG WARRIORS FROM OTHER TRIBE

D: WE KEEP OUR EYES ON THE GOAL AND CONTINUE FIGHTING FOR THE WIN.

IT'S PAINFUL AND WORTH A BIG EFFORT. THEIR COMING ON US FROM BOTH SIDES.

WE FIGHT THROUGH THE FIRST REGIMENT BUT KNOWING THAT THERE'S STILL MORE ON THE WAY

OH NO, THEIR CATCHING UP ON US. AND THEIR COMING STRONG AND FAST.

WE NEED TO CHANGE OUR STRATEGY OF OUR BATTLE.

AFTER THE FORMATION MEETING, WE CAME WITH FIGHT THAT COULD NEVER BE IMAGINED.

WE STRIVE, THOUGH OUR ENERGY IS ABOUT TO WORN OUT. WE KNOW THAT THIS IS THE TIME WE NEED TO USE THEM ALL.

THEY'RE NOT GIVING UP TOO. THEIR STILL ON OUR TAIL AND DONT WANNA GIVE UP EITHER.

WE FIGHT BACK AND TOOK DOWN THEIR ARTILLERY.

WE GOT WHAT WE WANT BUT WE JUST NEED TO GET IT THROUGH AND KEEP ON GOING.
OH NO. THEIR COMING STRONG, BUT WE WONT GIVE UP ON DEFENDING.
IS IT GONNA BE ABLE TO GO THROUGH?

THEY'RE CLOSING THEIR EYES. THEY'RE GETTING WEAK. WE TOOK THE LAST SHOT AND NOW IT HAS BEEN RELEASED.
YEEEEESSSSSS.... IT'S DONE. IT IS DONE. THE WIN HAS BEEN CLAIMED AND IT'S US THAT TOOK IT.

CONGRATULATION BAYVIEW FOR YOUR SPORTSMANSHIP

HERE'S THE RESULT OF THE GAME.

AFTER ALL EVERYONE ARE ALL WINNERS BECAUSE WE ALL SERVE ONE GOD.

CHEERLEADERS

VICTORY FACE

COMPLAINERS... AND THEY SAY,
"WHY ARE WE STILL HERE? LET'S GO HOME." ASKED DOUG
"HANG LOOSE DOUG. HANG LOOSE"
SAID MONDALE.

Introduction

I opened this blog because I know that there are many fellowship through sports that we do over here in campus and outside as PIU family that build our community as a body of Christ that the world should see. Even though that our sports like basketball games are not as interesting as NBA, NCAA, and AND ONE, we are still holding something that they do not hold. That is the fellowship through sports and we do it not for us but be do it to glorify God. Though we sometimes make mistakes, but it is not hidden in our games that we are playing as the body of Christ, and for that reason, we are glorifying Him. This blog will be particularly showing how we make sports more interesting and more nurturing in our spirits if we do it right. Let the Games Begin.
