As we know that PIU Basketball Team has been playing church league every year and it has been wonderful. This year, PIU Basketball Team has stepped up a little bit and has entered the regular league in Guam. I am part of the team and I want to say that I enjoy watching and witnessing the team making connections with these other teams who are not involved in any church associations. There are couple of team that are helping us in reaching out to these people but i think they are mixed with Christians and non-Christains. I saw some of the members of Island Praise in the league, but i don't think their team is mixed. But anyways, watching my brothers playing inside the court with the good attitude is really something for me. Do I want to get in the court? definitely because i have improved a lot and want to prove myself, not others, but myself that i can play just like other good players. But I think that that is not the reason for me to be part of the team by following my anxiousness. My expectation and goal to be part of the team is to just
enjoy it and pray for my brothers who are in the court so they can represent Christ in the way Christ want things to be handled. I am blessed to be part of the team and just watching these brothers improving in their games every time they get in the court. Comparing this season to last one, it has improved a lot. Some of these players have shortage of final needs in school and I want to ask that if you are willing to support these guys, it would be a blessing for them. Don't worry about me because I can deal with my own. But I believe and have seen in my eyes that these brothers are making a lot of difference inside the court and it has touched other people's lives by just watching them play.
So if you are willing to support these guys, I want to ask you to start donating and help them in their tuitions. Some of them are not just doing this basketball ministry, but some are involving in other ministries that will be sent this coming summer. They are eager to work for Christ, so I humbly ask that help these brothers.
